Our Leadership Team

 

Sara Daut

Vice President

As Vice President of The Lipton Group, Inc., Sara is the leader of our property management team.  Prior to re-joining The Lipton Group, Sara worked for large, professional property and asset management organizations in the roles of Regional Manager, Vice President of Multi-Family Assets, and Director of Asset Management.  Her oversight has included development, construction monitoring, lease up and stabilized portfolios from 1,400 to over 17,000 units. 
Sara earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management and Organizational Behavior from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. She is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and the St. Louis Apartment Association (SLAA).  Her Certified Property Manager (CPM®) and Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) certifications are both well recognized throughout the industry.  She is also a Certified Credit Compliance Professional (C4P), which displays her understanding of the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program.  Sara has over 20 years of property management experience, and she can honestly say she is doing what she loves to do!

Richard Alport

Chief Financial Officer

Richard joined The Lipton Group in 2000 as Chief Financial Officer, managing the financial strategy and operations of a vast portfolio of both residential and commercial real estate.  Richard holds a Bachelor's of Business Administration from The University of Michigan.  After earning his CPA and working in Public Accounting, he has spent the past 25 plus years in the real estate industry.  Prior to joining The Lipton Group, Richard worked as a financial analyst for a large west coast home builder before returning to St. Louis as the Controller for a commercial contractor where he focused much of his attention on subsidized housing development under several HUD and Low Income Housing Tax Credit Programs. 
In his position as Chief Financial Officer of The Lipton Group, Richard works closely with our property owners to determine the specific goals for each of their assets, focusing on long term growth to maximize value for each asset.  His attention to detail and ability to achieve client objectives have been instrumental in the success of owners, developers and partners of The Lipton Group.  Richard manages the banking and lending relationships, oversees the company's human resources and IT relationships, and works closely with attorneys, tax accountants and insurance specialists to ensure the financial integrity for which The Lipton Group is known.

Mandi Randell

Assistant Vice President

Mandi has nearly 20 years of experience in the multi-family housing industry, starting as a leasing consultant with The Lipton Group at Pheasant Run Apartments in Maryland Heights.  She has worked in a variety of submarkets in Missouri and Illinois, including St. Louis, Columbia, Kansas City, and St. Clair County.  Mandi has worked on newly constructed properties, mature assets, complete renovations, and repositioned apartment communities - both market rate and tax credit.
Mandi earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis where she was active in many on-campus clubs and organizations.  She is currently involved in the Human Resource Management Association, St. Louis Apartment Association and local chambers of commerce.  Mandi has received the Marketing Director of the Year Award from the St. Louis Apartment Association, and the Marketing / Leasing Director of the Year Award from the Institute of Real Estate Management.  Mandi earned her Certified Apartment Property Supervisor designation in 2015 from the St. Louis Apartment Association.

Cindy Fitzpatrick

Director

Cindy joined the Lipton Group team in 2014, bringing over 15 years of experience in property management with market rate and tax credit communities, policies and procedures, and auditing.  Cindy has successfully leased up new construction communities, as well as achieved financial success with mature properties. Cindy holds the Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management, the C3P Tax Credit Certification, and obtained her Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) designation in 2018.

Helena Reed

Marketing Director

Helena has been in the multi-family housing industry for 8 years,

all with The Lipton Group. She started as a leasing consultant at Sugar Pines Apartments in Florissant, MO. During her time with the Lipton Group, she has worked in several submarkets of the Greater St. Louis Area. Helena has held many positions across these markets, including assistant manager and property manager, giving her a unique insight into leasing and marketing in St. Louis. 

Helena earned her undergraduate degree from DeVry University, specializing in Multimedia Design and Development. She utilizes the planning and implementation processes learned during her degree program to develop specialized marketing and leasing plans throughout the portfolio.

George Schmidt

Multi-Site Project Manager

George has 20 years of experience in the multi-family industry and has been with The Lipton group since 2007. In his time with The Lipton Group, George has been instrumental in the training of our     service technicians and supervisors. He has an extensive skill set which includes carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC. 
He is an accomplished team leader that takes pride in the development and growth that our service teams have experienced, due in large part to his guidance and management. George is HVAC/EPA certified and is a Certified Pool Operator.

Dianne Jennings

Senior Accounting Manager

Dianne joined the Lipton Group team in 2011, bringing over 20 years of experience in Accounting, Management, and Administrative roles for a variety of companies and CPA firms. Dianne is a graduate of the University of Missouri - St. Louis, with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Accounting/Business Administration.   Her training in the industry began with a Missouri estate agent license and working with residential rental clients.
She was named the 2013 and 2014 Lipton Group Corporate Employee of the Year and Awarded the 2014 St. Louis Apartment Association Rising Star Award.

Alisa Hill

Operations Manager

Alisa has over 10 years of experience in the multi-family housing industry with market rate, tax credit, and public housing communities.  She began her career as a leasing consultant and was quickly promoted to assistant manager and then property manager. Alisa previously held the position of floating property manager and trainer for new assistant managers and property managers with The Lipton Group. In her current role, Alisa supports The Lipton Group on-site and corporate teams, as well as negotiates contracts with vendors, completes property audits, and provides reporting to Ownership. Alisa completes property inspections and file reviews for current Lipton Group properties, as well as part of the due diligence team. Alisa earned her Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) and Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) designations from the National Apartment Association, as well as her Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) designation.
